NOVENA
Grace of God Recovery House (GOGRH) fundraising month is during August. As we come to the end of the month, the GOGRH winds down in reflection and prayer, practicing the ancient tradition of Novena: devotional praying in Christianity, consisting of public prayers repeated for nine successive days. In the next nine days you will see prayers written and provided by staff that they use for their own recoveries and people affected from addictions. Some are common and regularly used prayers…

Jesus knew God's law "from the heart" and tried to teach his disciples this. In order to live this way, it requires study and practice.
Advice for Living
In Mt 7 Jesus calls us to do inner work related to judgments, discernging what gives life and how we move through the world.
Heard Into Healing
We are invited as Easter people to remember that God meets us "on the way" of life and that we must hear others into healing.
A Change Is Gonna Come (in fact it’s already here…)
The resurrection of Jesus was both an event and an ongoing experience that we are called to participate in.
And So We Wait
Holy Saturday holds up all that is unfinished, unresolved and unsettled in life - acknowledging all that we wait upon for consolation.
Don’t Look Away
We are invited today to gaze upon the cross and all that is broken and hurting in his world and to remember that Jesus' love stopped at nothing
World Turned Upside Down
Jesus showed us a path of humility and solidarity with workers when he washed his disciples' feet and calls us to do the same
Respect Judas
Judas is likely a more complex character that we have been taught and may not have just betrayed Jesus to try to make some easy money.
Anyway
Our plans do not come to fruition and relationships are hard. Yet we are called to trust in something bigger than our disappointments
