Jesus tells us today that we are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is a difficult and challenging invitation.

In today's readings, we are invited to reconsider some conventional wisdom related to our judgements as well as our anger.

Sometimes when we set out to "find" God, we discover that we, in fact, are the ones being found or given unexpected grace.

God is inviting us to a transformation and change of heart. We're called to read the signs of the times and take up God's work here and now.

The words we use about ourselves or about others have an impact and set things in motion in the world. What impact do our words have?

Today's scriptures offer us a challenge to tend to the wounds of the world around us as well as address the cource of the wounding.

For most of Christian history, our theology focused on original sin. A different starting point is to embrace our original blessing and live into our goodness.

In today's readings, we are invited into the work of healing social pain and addressing all of the forces that have separated people from each other.

In this day and age, what does it mean to "choose life"? What sacrifices might be required from us? What weight must we bear?

As we begin the Lenten journey, may we work to return to God with our whole heart and find spiritual renewal and strength in this season.

We are invited as Easter people to remember that God meets us "on the way" of life and that we must hear others into healing.

The resurrection of Jesus was both an event and an ongoing experience that we are called to participate in.
