Jesus saw the 10 Commandments not as a oppressive overly but as a path towards liberation. That's why he did not try to abolish them

I decided to give up fear this Lent and while it is both funny and impossible it helps me to return to love more fully.

God is a God of vibrancy and and richness. So often our responses to God's invitations are from a dry and brittle place instead.

Today's readings remind us of the holy ground we are on and to be faithful to our call

Joseph tried to be faithful in the ordinary circumstances of his life

We are invited to rethink what we have come to know about the parables that Jesus taught

The rich man did not recognize the poor man Lazarus at his door as his kin

Jesus encourages us to use our power for the benefit of all but especially the least

How do we make transformative visions of justice a reality in our world?

Jesus invites his followers to offer grace, forgiveness and mercy to the world - knowing that what we offer to the world is what is offered back to us.

We are invited to wake up and perceive our connectedness more clearly

God made vows to love us and we, in turn, are asked to love one another.
