novena, day seven

novena, day seven

by Anthony Keefer Robertson, Resident

Dear God, I ask that you continue to watch over me when times get tough and grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

I pray that you keep me out of self and instead live by your will and continue to do the next right thing.

Dear God, please watch over my family and keep them in good health and show them that my disease of addiction can be beaten so long as I work my program and trust in you on a daily basis.

Dear God, I pray for the still sick and suffering addict who might use for the first or last time tonight.

I pray that they find their way into the rooms of AA and their hearts into the trust of you. I pray that their families can see them find a newfound freedom and happiness.

Amen

Anthony, I pray for you and with you. Addiction can feel overwhelming, but know many people are pulling for you and all the folks at Grace of God. May you feel blessed and loved.

Anthony , thanks for your wonderful prayer !
I feel you stressed God’s priority in recovery and family being impacted in many ways .My thoughts are that addiction is a family disease ,but it also can be a family recovery ! God bless you in your journey ! Tom C
