Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned giving offers a unique way to support the mission and vision of our church, not only for today but for generations to come. Whether through bequests, charitable trusts, or other legacy gifts, your contribution helps ensure that our ministries continue to thrive, serving both our congregation and our community. We invite you to explore the many ways you can leave a lasting impact, honoring your faith and values through thoughtful giving.

Bequests – Wills and living trusts

A bequest allows you to designate a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or particular assets to be given to the church upon your passing.

A living trust offers similar benefits, with the added advantage of allowing you to manage your assets during your lifetime.

Both options provide flexibility, and you can modify your plans as needed. By making a planned gift through your will or trust, you can help secure the future of our church and continue to make a difference in the lives of others for years to come.

We encourage you to consult with your financial or legal advisor to ensure your wishes are carried out according to your plan. If you would like to discuss how your gift can support specific ministries or initiatives, please contact us for more information.

Beneficiary Designations

Naming our church as a beneficiary on your retirement accounts, life insurance policies, or other financial accounts is a simple and flexible way to support our mission. This type of planned gift allows you to designate a portion of your assets to the church without the need to change your will or trust. You can choose to leave a percentage, a specific amount, or even the full value of an account, and you can modify your beneficiary designations at any time if your circumstances change.

To make a beneficiary designation, simply contact your plan administrator or financial institution to update your beneficiary form, and let them know you’d like to include the church in your plans. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how your gift can make a lasting impact, feel free to reach out to us for guidance.

Give from your ira

If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to our church, known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This is a great option for those looking to support the church while reducing their taxable income, as the amount transferred directly to the church will not be subject to income tax.

A QCD can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if you are over 73, but without increasing your taxable income. You can give up to $100,000 per year, and your gift can be applied immediately to support the church’s ongoing ministries or specific initiatives that matter most to you.

To make a gift from your IRA, contact your IRA plan administrator and let them know you’d like to make a charitable distribution to our church. If you need more information on how your IRA gift can make an impact, we’re happy to assist you.
