Painfully Visible and Entirely Ignored

Painfully Visible and Entirely Ignored

Mike Boucher preached this weekend on the story of the rich man and Lazarus from Luke 16. In our modern context, we build walls, and highways and gated communities to avoid engaging each other rendering many people and entire communities invisible (sometimes for generations). What would this cautionary tale look like if told using examples from our modern era? How do we recognize and act on the humanity we see in those who have been “othered” and “invisibilized” in our world?
