I lead the Thursday Night Musicians at the 7PM Thursday Night Mass – and have been doing so for 35 years. We have several great singers, guitarists, bassists, drummer – and guest musicians – that provide music for worship. We love the community and the ministry of music to support the great preaching and warm, welcoming worship community.
I have a bachelors in music from California State University, and Masters in Theology from St. Mary’s College in Moraga and am ABD towards a PhD in Social Science from Syracuse University. I was called into ministry as a youth minister – and did that full time for ten years. At age 30, Mary and I move to Rochester from California to join the staff of Corpus Christi. I was the Ministry Coordinator and co-leader of Family Ministry and Marriage Prep with Mary for several years. I taught leadership courses at St. Bernard’s and the Divinity School, taught in the Deaconate, the Priest Development program and provided leadership and conflict management for numerous churches and denominations. I still volunteer to help with leadership at Spiritus and coach clergy who are some of my clients at my firm, Ramerman Leadership Group.
I am an executive coach and leadership consultant who has run my own business for 38 years. My business partner is my son, John, who is also a certified coach. Mary Ramerman, my wonderful wife, just retired as Pastor of Spiritus Christi. I three grown children and two delightful grandchildren. Love golf, music and travel.
