 Dear Friends,We are a month away from celebrating our 25th Anniversary with an amazing Silver Ball at the Holiday Inn Hotel on State Street, where we will gather to celebrate God’s work in our Spiritus community. You can wear anything silver or something Spiritus like your silver Spiritus T-shirt.  Many of you have asked why we moved the location of the ball from the Italian American Community Center? There were three reasons: accommodation, price, and convenience of parking. The Italian American Center could only accommodate 280 guests in their largest ballroom with limited serving staff available, while the hotel accommodates 450 guests in their ballroom with full serving staff available. An extra bonus is that they are allowing us to bring in our own separate catering service. As we compared pricing, we got a much better deal at the Holiday Inn Hotel, which allowed us to keep the ticket price at $25 and not $55, so that anyone who would like to attend can afford it, especially families, young adults, and those on fixed incomes. Lastly, parking was more convenient as there is underground and above ground parking at the hotel, parking right across the street, City Hall parking, and Spiritus parking (the hotel is in walking distance from the church). Many of us will leave Mass and simply walk over to the hotel. As always, our security team will be monitoring all parking areas, so there is no need to worry about safety.
